DAVID REHR JOINS GW'S GRADUATE SCHOOL OF POLITICAL MANAGEMENT AS MEDIA COMMENTATOR
Acting Executive Director of the George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) Dr. Charles B. Cushman, Jr., announced today that Dr. David Rehr will serve as a media commentator on politics and policy representing the graduate school, as well as continuing to serve as an adjunct professor and member of the school's Council on American Politics.
"David brings exceptional experience with his nearly thirty years of political work and academic credentials to offer insight on national political and policy questions." Cushman said, "we are pleased to add him to our outstanding list of media commentators. His experience at the helm of the National Association of Broadcasters has, and will continue, to serve the GSPM well."
Rehr currently serves as Senior Advisor to Leading Authorities, Inc., and is the former President and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). Rehr, who holds a Ph.D. from George Mason University, has served as an adjunct professor at GSPM and continues to lecture and teach on advocacy, fundraising, marketing and communications, and leadership.
"The Graduate School of Political Management at GW is creating the political leaders of tomorrow." Rehr said. "I am proud to help them in their efforts." Rehr has served on the Council of GSPM for many years.
Rehr joins a distinguished team of media commentators at the GSPM including Dr. Steven Billet who is a frequent commentator on international and domestic lobbying, campaign finance and PACs, Dr. Dennis Johnson who speaks on national politics, public policy, and elections, and Dr. Christopher Arterton who is a frequent commentator on polling, ethics, strategy and leadership in politics.
